Sharks Enemies

Because many sharks are large and can swim quickly there are very few animals that attack them. Some small or newborn sharks are eaten by bigger sharks, and some are attacked by Orca Whales, Sperm Whales and large fish. Dolphins will band together to attack a shark in order to protect their own young. Swordfish have also been known to stab at sharks.

Some kinds of sharks have been sold for food and appear on restaurant menus.
